ESAB Corporation is pleased to announce that we have acquired Delta P Gas Equipment based in Italy and entered into an agreement to acquire Aktiv® Technologies based in India, continuing the global strategic expansion of our gas control equipment portfolio.

Delta P is a comprehensive provider of medical central gas systems and aftermarket services. The business provides product design and engineering to installation and implementation for a product portfolio that includes advanced solutions for the next generation of nitrogen and oxygen, medical gas distribution systems, central suction systems, and anesthetic gas scavenging systems. Delta P is especially respected for its system design and project management capabilities.

Aktiv is a gas equipment manufacturer based in India, offering a comprehensive medical central gas system portfolio of source equipment, pipeline products, including control panels and manifolds, as well as suction oxygen therapy equipment. The transaction to acquire Aktiv is expected to close in the second half of the year, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

These strategic acquisitions, along with Ohio® Medical in the United States and Therapy Equipment in the United Kingdom, strengthen our global portfolio of medical gas equipment solutions, local customer service, and most importantly the safety and regulatory standards that are critical around the world.
